monday | 3:30 – 5pm | March 21 – May 16 | BUILDING & Planting MINIATURE HIGH LINEs | 2nd–7th graders

$340.00

We’ll create our own designs and build our own in miniature High Lines, complete with plantings using wood, glue, basic hand tools (hammer, hand saw, hand drill, screwdrivers, & sanding blocks), an assortment of found & upcycled materials, seeds and soil! We’ll explore the architecture, landscaping, and sculptural aspects of the High Line & Little Island in NYC, as well as the quirky, wonderful gardens planted by Liam in The Curious Garden by Peter Brown.

*Please note that in these mixed-age workshops, participants are divided into different groups, based on age/grade, each working at their own pace.

All workshops take place in my outdoor garage-studio space in the College Hill neighborhood of Maplewood, New Jersey.
