JUNE MOM PopUp | THURSDAY | JUNE 9 | 7:30 – 9:30PM

$55.00

Bring your Mom crew!! (Of course Dads and all adults are welcome!)

play: verb
engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose.

So what Mom doesn’t need a little more time for herself to daydream and play?

This month we’ll be experimenting with mixed media on paper by painting, tearing, gluing, and then painting, tearing, gluing, and layering some more. Inspired by Pickett’s Charge, Mark Bradford’s large-scale work, we’ll dive into making patterns and layers of our own because we want to. I was delighted to see Pickett’s Charge up close over Spring Break at the Hirschhorn Museum in DC.

We provide the demonstration, a little inspiration and materials; You provide the willingness to lean in, get messy and make stuff.

Come celebrate your inner Warrior and make art without pressure, for fun, because it’ll nourish you.
