summer week 4 | July 18–22 | 9am - 12pm | BUILDING & Planting MINIATURE HIGH LINEs | Rising 2nd - 8th graders
We’ll create our own designs and build our own in miniature High Lines, complete with plantings using wood, glue, basic hand tools (hammer, hand saw, hand drill, screwdrivers, & sanding blocks), an assortment of found & upcycled materials, seeds and soil! We’ll explore the architecture and landscaping of the High Line & Little Island in NYC, as well as the quirky, wonderful gardens planted by Liam in The Curious Garden.
All workshops take place in my outdoor garage-studio space in the College Hill neighborhood of Maplewood, New Jersey.
